From 2009, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) started to conduct a water quality investigation project in the coastal sea areas of the Tungsha Islands. The monitoring content is shown in the table below. Each item is analyzed in accordance with the testing standards announced by the Environmental Analysis Laboratory of the EPA. The project is expected to ‘complete the water quality monitoring of the coastal areas of Tungsha Islands, establish relevant water quality data and provide references for marine environmental protection control.’ Summary of the project’s monitoring content
